chronicle of an unreliable voice

Folder 34

It’s a two for one deal on reality. And it’s the only deal we have.

The Phantom Replica tossed the last bit of dirt on top of the grave.
The Pair of Old Hands looked over at him. “You all done are you?”
The Phantom Replica motioned to the filled in grave.
“Good. Now I’m gonna need you to start digging again.”
A confused look.
“That was the wrong grave you were digging up.”
The Phantom Replica looked around at the other tombstones.
“I’ve been waiting for someone like you to come around.”
The Phantom Replica pointed curiously at himself.
“Yup. A necromancer.”
A confused look.
“That’s what you are isn’t it? Why you’re out here digging up my bodies?”
He shrugged his shoulders.
“You’re raising the dead, kid. Secret’s safe with me.”
The Phantom Replica shook his head no.
“We’re gonna have  a lot of fun working together. Whole lotta fun.”
